Tiered Classroom
The tiered classroom is designed within the constraints of an existing building shell on UC Davis campus. The open lecture hall is connected to the rest of the building and encourages participation from the audience within the space as well as providing opportunity for those passing by to observe on going lectures. The back wall is lined with living plants and acoustic panels in a pattern intended to mimic the agriculture fields that are a large part of the culture at UC Davis.
